And the boys can't wait to go back. They thought these cowboys were "tough as nails"!
Today while Greg was gone the boys and I did a few crafts. I have a hard time finding easy and "manly" (per Greg's request) crafts but I'm learning my boys are completely content with what I find and can come up with and I can handle my husband's snide remarks to our slightly girly activities. They're becoming creative, right? Right!
I guess Greg mostly draws the line with glitter and hearts which one of our crafts last month entailed!

I didn't have all the stuff for these rainbows I found from everything except the grill but we made due.
I do love to see the creative part of my kids as Dax never waivers on how things really are and Lucas could care less. Like these owls for instance. Lucas thought this owl was great, but Dax came home from school and after seeing Lucas' owl he had to make one because we didn't make it right. He keeps us going on reality!
These letters were made with modge podge (painted on thick) sprinkled with salt and then dipping a paint brush in food coloring and then on the salt and glue mixture. I took the idea from the crafty crow.

Cute ideas. I'll have to try some of them this week with my kids. Hope you are all feeling better!
