THE GOOD
I'm going to try to teach Dax piano lessons (this could turn ugly as I'm afraid I may do a poor job of teaching).
Lucas can't wait until Dax is done with school (these two are good buddies). Roughly 90 days to go.
I feel like I have two babies.....this is good, but it sure is hard.
Emmett rarely cries when I have him in this sling, where he is for about 50% of the day.
Lucas has been such a good kid.
Emmett constantly smiles for Dax.
Nolan is constantly talking or singing which makes all of us laugh.

Dax came downstairs after being put to bed to say that Lucas had said a really bad word. I asked him what it was and he replied "I can't say it. It's really bad". I said "Just tell me. You won't get in trouble". He paused a moment, looked down said "Dumb". I'm so glad that right now this is as bad as it gets!

THE BAD
Emmett thinks night time lasts from 10pm to 3 or 4am only
Nolan is fascinated with Emmett's eyes
Nolan is awfully picky when it comes to food.
Dax loves to tease.

and THE UGLY
There's nothing worse than puke; that's what Dax brought home from school
The younger three have been sick for the past two weeks so it may continue for another week if they catch what Dax has
Some days I've changed anywhere from 15-20 diapers (I can't wait until Nolan is potty-trained)
I. Am. Exhausted.

But there's not a day goes by that I'm not grateful to be a mom to four amazing little boys.
I do love my little kiddos.

I love Daxton's threshold for profanity! Yep, keep it at "dumb" for as long as you can! What a good kid.

That reminds me of our family trip to NYC, and my younger brother (8 yrs old) saw a movie theater with XXX displayed. He asked if we could go to the movies, but my mom said the XXX meant they did naughty things and said bad words. My brother was really curious about that and whispered, "do they use the word... peabrain?"

So sorry you are still battling sickness. We are in the clear for now (hope I didn't jinx myself by saying that). Hope you are all feeling better and that Dax keeps the bug to himself.

You do have some super sweet boys. It's 'cause they have a super sweet momma:)

I'm so sorry, exhaustion makes it hard for me to look at the world in the right way. Nice that you have a whole list of good! I thought having two babies was pretty darn hard, but I wouldn't change it. It's like running a marathon. It tests every bit of what you've got inside, but in the end there's no better feeling. Not that I would no, I ain't runnin' no 26 miles.
