This is the backyard of the house that Skip built:
And this is the living room, kitchen, boys bedroom and bonus room that's in the house that Skip built:
This is the house we love living in. We still seem to have piles but we finally feel like we're getting somewhere. This unpacking thing is for the birds.
In the last 6 weeks we've:
*Installed 3 great swings out back in our BIG tree
*Caught about 50 frogs
*Killed about 20 frogs (weed eater or kids leaving them out to bake)
*Seen 3 deer in our back yard
*Made 6 bird houses (thanks to playgroup)
*Went for a canoe ride
*Went hiking for a cave with our playgroup and NEVER found it
*Had 4 mangy foxes wondering in our yard
*Built 15 airplanes, one sword, 2 boats, 1 flower, 1 helicopter and 1 butterfly all out of legos (we don't have much to do on Sunday afternoons)
*Hung pictures, unpacked more boxes, gone through lots of piles
*Visited the Nina and Pinta replicas (Columbus' Ships)
*Attended the Nauvoo Pageant (was wonderful)
*Spent a lot of time indoors as the humidity is unbearable
*Played a couple games of baseball
*Went to the Henderson County Fair (lame)
*Made mud soup
*Made mud soup that ended up being maggot soup
*Walked about 60 miles on the park road (we live on it, I think it's beautiful...pictures to come)
*Read about 150 children's books
*Sewed 7 pillows, one throw blanket and one curtain
*Eaten a ton of chocolate
and
*I am so happy to report that we have not seen one giant wolf spider alive since Tempo
