my love/hate relationship with summer......so far
My sister and I went to the Nauvoo Pageant last week. It was absolutely moving and inspiring and testimony building for me. I. Loved. It.

I love having my kids home.

I love having a baby (any time of the year actually)!

I love the Henderson County Library and staff. They. Are. Amazing. And put on some great summer activities for the kids. Once a week they do a craft and story time and then have a few things on the weekends through the summer. At the petting farm this year the boys saw a:

Hate's a pretty strong word, but I knowingly use it along with a hole lot of emotion behind it, especially in this case. I really do hate, hate, hate spiders, ticks, snakes and humidity.
SPIDERS: they are everywhere. Thankfully none of the 3.5 inch wold spiders have not made their way inside as of yet.
TICKS: we've only had 3 but they are one nasty, nasty bug.
SNAKES: two located in the yard so far, and luckily Dax can kill them without his dad home, otherwise I don't know what the heck I'd do with a two foot snake.
HUMIDITY: last week at 7 pm it was 89 feels like 102 with humidity. This week it's suppose to be even worse. Dax thought there was fog out this morning, but it was just humidity. I just hate sweating when I don't want to sweat. End of story.

Yup! Miss you :)
What a little man, snake killer for the family. Looks like you guys are having a great summer, but I totally know what you mean about those hates. I spend all year looking forward to summer, and then I think,"YUCK!" I forgot this came along with it . . .
