This week for Shalet: I have the crafting bug something fierce this winter. Here's a couple I've made for the fall, the other ten to twenty are in the works. I am grateful to be home with 3 little boys who are constantly teaching me. There's not a day that goes by I don't take a good look at each one and think "Gosh, I'm so glad you're mine".
This week for Greg: don't know that I've mentioned before but Greg has applied and interviewed at an AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) program and a GPR (general practice residency). We will know by Christmas, hopefully, where we are going. We've got our hearts set on one in particular, but will take whatever the Lord has in store for us. Greg has had a lot of great opportunities at school and loves what he does.
This week for Daxton: he's attending gymnastics and swimming classes for the next month and a half and is really enjoying it. We use this book, amongst other things, every day for school and are having success so far: "Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons". My goal is not to have him reading by kindergarten, but rather to keep his mind simply entertained as he's been pretty bored the last couple of months. Dax is the perfect big brother most days.
This week for Lucas: pooped his pants for the first time in a year--luckily he had a diaper on as it was right before his nap. He consistently wakes up 3-5 times a night. I could seriously punch a wall every time I hear that door creak slowly open! He wants a gun with binoculars for Christmas and wants to go fishing every single day.
This week for Nolan: he's doing the army crawl, won't eat even one ounce of baby food (I've tried for 2 solid months once a day and all I get is a clamped mouth), he is cutting his first tooth, isn't napping so well, most nights is awake for about an hour talking and loves, loves, loves attention.
