The fluid has gone down to the point of almost normal, he's measuring right on target and at 16 weeks the anatomy of the baby looks great. Dr. Castro did say though that with a vast amount of babies with the fluid there are heart problems so in 3 weeks they will check the anatomy again and then in 3 more weeks I'll meet with the pediatric cardiologist. If there are problems then there are further tests that can be done with the left over
CVS sample to determine what that might be, however, these tests only produce results 50% of the time. For now, We believe in miracles and have felt that time and time again throughout this pregnancy.

Wow Shalet! What a huge sigh of relief! I know you're not quite out of the tunnel yet (just with more testing and stuff), but what a relief that things keep measuring perfectly and right on track. I can't wait to meet this kiddo-- he seems like a fighter!
