Dr. Castro just called and gave me the preliminary results: GOOD NEWS! At this point there are no abnormalities in the chromosomes. So 13, 17, 18 and 21 (I think those are the right numbers) are all there and perfect at this point. She said that these results are extremely accurate but there are always glitches. So in 7-10 days we will get the results back from the FISH test which will show all chromosomes and if there are any ones a little short, long, etc. which can be a whole new set of problems. But the major ones, I believe have been crossed off the list. I go in next week to have another ultrasound to see if the fluid has gone down at all.
As well, we'll be having another BOY!! So if you have any suggestions for names, now would be a good time to send them my way.
My mom reminded me to "enjoy the moment". I shall do just that. . .

Congrats that is good news, hopefully everything else will turn out as well. As for names, I've always been fond of Brock, but I don't know if there is room for another one in the family. Next on the list would be Vijay, and the good news is that we are having a girl, which will be our last, and Jamey won't let me use it for her. So if you want it, take it. Oh and don't forget Kualski, another gem of a name for you, which I tried to get Dalton named that. Take care.
Shalet, this is Tim. I think you should name your son Dirk. Not after our Dog, but after Dirk Pitt. If you don't know who that is, look him up when you get a chance. They say he is a mix of Indiana Jones, James Bond and Macgyver.... nice.
