Finally, finally, finally my sweet baby Emmett has arrived.

1:30 pm: doctors appointment; dilated to a 4; stripped membranes
5:00: contractions start
5:15 pm: rush to get kids fed, laundry done, bags packed, house cleaned
6:00 pm: contractions every 3 minutes
7:00 pm: ready to go
7:15 pm: Grandma Cathy & Grandpa Ed arrive (what they have become to us--so so thankful for them)
8:10 pm: arrive at hospital
9:15 pm: given first dose of penicillin (group strep B+)(need the other one in 4 hours)
11:00 pm: RELIEF! The Epidural
1:15 am: call nurses station to say "I think I might be close"
1:23 am: Doctor broke my water
1:28 am: Emmett born
This has been one of the longest pregnancies for me. Emotionally, spiritually and mentally challenging and so so draining. How grateful I am that a loving Heavenly Father hears and answers my prayers during my darkest of hours. I feel so blessed to have four little boys. There is something so magical about a newborn. We are all loving every single minute he's been here with us.

YEAH!!!! Congratulations Shalet and Greg. He is adorable and definately a Godfrey:) Love the content smile on his face... and have to admit I had to laugh at Nolan in the other picture... does he already realize he's not the baby anymore? I have a feeling it will be like that for Cass when #4 comes along for us as well. You're in my thoughts and prayers as you adjust to life with 4 sweet boys:) Miss you!
Hooray and congratulations to the Godfreys! You are a trooper Shalet! I'll never forget that RS Brunch when you told us you were pregnant! You are an amazing mom and I love that picture of you with your FOUR boys. I'm glad the delivery went so well and so quickly. Good luck adjusting to life with four little ones; you will do great!

Oh so happy for you that Emmett arrived and all is well. You are in my prayers as well as you adjust to 4. We are close behind with number 4 coming in April. I will be hitting you up for some advice soon! Congrats! You have beautiful family and are an amazing mom!

Congraulation, I am sorry I havent Called yet. I think of you very often with those 4 little boys. I think you are going to need all the prayers you can get, You both have got your hand full, but I think it wonderfull also. You are both wonderfull parents and every thing will all work out and the Lord will give you many blessing and much love. Love you Grandma. Now tell me where was this wonderful Emmett born?
Oh Shalet!!!! 9months of pregnancy + labor x 4 = holy smokes and yet...that picture of you with your 4 boys...PRICELESS. WHAT a woman you are. I'm proud to know you. Can't help thinking your boys are going to have to marry awfully well to find anyone who can hold a candle to their mother.
I am so glad you didn't wait until after Thanksgiving! Sounds like it went smoothly and he is another cute little Godfrey!
