February 2010

I love having experiences in life where the "big" eternal picture is completely evident and that is the only thing that matters for those few brief minutes. This temple sealing and the whole day was like that for me. It was beautiful.

These last 8 months for my brother have been difficult but what an amazing transformation the Lord had in store for him and his children. Miracles. Are. Real.

Lucas turned 3 while we were out visiting family. This kid provides a lot of entertainment, laughter and energy to our family. He loves milk and any junk food he can possibly get a hold of. He is very LOUD. Very Loud. He loves to go fishing and constantly talks about it. I should start a blog about all the mishaps he has everyday. He is constantly in the "line of fire" be that Dax's or his own doing, jumping off the back of a couch ending with a gash in his head or falling down a flight of stairs ending in the same result....it really never seems to end for him. He's a slight bit top heavy so I'm sure that doesn't help! Anyway, I love, love, love this kid and grateful he's mine.

We also did some serious sledding and the boys learned to tie a fly from the best. Grandpa Bob.

Is that the brother you talked about in church yesterday who met his wife in the hospital? What a cool, crazy story! Usually hospital stays aren't that romantic, but I guess your brother's was! Good for him.

Lucas can't already be 3. That's impossible.
