Greg had this week off so we went to Chicago one day to visit our friends. We saw Millennium park, the botanical garden, the infamous BEAN, our reflection in the infamous BEAN, sky-risers, horrible traffic, Face Fountains, 59 degrees on our car thermostat, Navy Pier from a distance, lots of boats, lots of water and a whole lot of people.

Greg had an away rotation for a few days so my mom came out to see us.
Lucas is into finding worms EVERY time we go outside. Greg has taken the boys to catch frogs. They've also caught a water mouse (Dax' interpretation of a muskrat), baby cat fish, tadpoles, cray fish, and saw one snapping turtle.

We love Chicago...and how fun that you got to stop and see Ken and Kathy....Looks awfully cold though? Can't believe that all the little ones have sweatshirts on! Crazy weather!
What a fun Chicago trip!!! I wish I could go! It's funny what you wish you could do, when you can't!
