Our last month in a nut shell:
a crying, very fussy baby, 3 doses of zantac daily then onto prevacid but no real improvements, two boys packing and wishing they could head to grandma and grandpas' house, fishing . . . inside, lots of rocking and bouncing and bathing and crying, virtually no sleep, Greg's finals, a few days of warmer weather, a couple barbecues with friends, minimal picture taking, laundry, dishes, more laundry, many more dishes, bills, and still more crying.

It's been a bit stressful but Greg has been so helpful and encouraging! I don't want to be anywhere other than where I am right now, but being a parent sure is hard. I've just determined that if I don't expect to get anything done then I won't be disappointed. Believe it or not this has helped with my stress level tremendously. I just make sure the house is clean, there's a hot meal on the table when Greg gets home, laundry is done and the rest is history. Most days I just hold a crying baby or read books to the other two. Life couldn't get any more simpler and sometimes it couldn't be any more difficult. Grateful they all come one day at a time.

sometimes it's all you can do to get through the day, usually the next day seems to go better, but if not we just do the best we can :) Hope your baby feels better soon!

That makes me a little scared to have number 3. Your boys sure are cute though!!

Three is a different ballgame! But I am sure you are handling it great! Don't forget to take of advantage of all the awesome neighbors... that's the only way I got through it all!

if i had a day where I got the laundry done, the house was clean, AND there was a meal cooked that would be a miracle! I can maybe do one of those in a day. I am quite impressed.

Shalet, please let me know if you and Greg (or even just you!) need a night out. I'm usually done with work by five or six and I would be happy to sit the kids. Just let me know!

It gets better! I planted my garden this week, and was thinking, "why didn't I do this last year?" Oh yeah, because I had a little baby - and didn't have time for hardly any "extras." But now, she's bigger, I'm back to some projects along with more sleep, and more time for fun (although still not always clean house, dinner done, etc)!
