I couldn't have asked for a better labor and delivery: virtually pain free (you bet I get an epidural) and pretty enjoyable. Like I said when Lucas was a baby "there is something so sweet about having a newborn around". Nolan is so so sweet and just another witness to us that miracles do occur.

My little brother and sister, Shane and Keona, made the trip out to entertain two kids for a few days while we were at the hospital. These two were machines: cooking, cleaning, playing, washing, entertaining, reading, laughing, and doing everything in between without ever being asked. We were so thankful they came.

Shalet, I have been wanting to call you every day, but I'm just nervous that someone (or everyone) is sleeping! Congrats on such a great labor and delivery! I can't wait to meet Nolan-- what a sweetheart. He looks so alert in that picture. You're right-- newborns really bring such a sweet spirit into a home.
