We had no idea that our one week summer break would be so eventful--but we are grateful to have been able to do so much in so little time! I believe I captured just about every stop along the way starting with a camping trip with the Lindners. They are also Dental students and from Rhinelander, WI--home of a million lakes, so we headed up there to spend a few days with them. It was so enjoyable! Then we came home, unpacked and packed again to head to Utah to attend the funeral of Greg's aunt. This time we booked a direct flight out of Chicago at half decent hours of the day. It was so nice to be able to spend time with family for a few days before heading back to Wisconsin. Greg has school all year long, so of course he's back in full swing again. Dax has discovered that he can do just about anything "all by myself" and loves to be with his Dad--quite naturally I suppose because he's the one who takes him golfing, fishing and wrestles, while mom reads books and runs errands! Lucas is such a good good baby. He's almost 5 months old and still sleeps a lot but is happy and content when awake. He's so much like a breath of fresh air for me right now as he is pretty low maintenance. As for the likes of me, well, I cook, clean, do laundry, build towers, mop floors, read books, sew, exercise and try never to take a nap. In the end we are just so blessed and grateful that we have been given so much. We love and miss you all.

Lindner's grandparents live on a small lake. It was here Dax got a tick and a leach but we also played in the sand, swam in the water, fished and swang in the hammock! Welcome to Wisconsin!
